Treetop adventure circuits
The Périgord is a special place for these two related disciplines, which both involve
discovering - and moving through - a karstic environment. Today, the Périgord is
world-renowned for its prehistory, and it owes that tomodern potholing pioneers
who discovered, or dug into, a great many of the cavities in the area: the same ones
that are now open to tours.
There are five public climbing sites in the Dordogne. No fewer than seven service
providers with a 'Climbing' certification, and three with a 'Potholing' certification,
are available to guide you through your discovery, offering initiation and advanced
courses in these t

In this 100ha wooded park, located in Lanouaille, alongside the Lac de Rouffiac, one of
the largest recreational lakes in the Périgord, visitors can enjoy a huge choice of sports
activities,inparticularcable-skiing,withoptionsforallagesandabilities.Takeadvantage
of the free access to the lake to enjoy a stroll or a swimhere; alternatively, enjoy tuition
from professional instructors in a range of activities, either individually, with your
family, or as part of a group: cable-skiing, wakeboarding, mountainbiking, canoeing and
kayaking, pedalo boats, sailing, paddle board, climbing, archery, rope bridges, treetop
adventure trails, aquatic zip wire, potholing and paintball. Other facilities at the Lac
Rouffiac include a campsite, bar-restaurant and accommodation centre for groups

instructors. These outdoor sports enthusiasts are on hand to help you discover
a variety of leisure activities such as mountain biking, climbing, potholing,

paragliding and hot-air ballooning. On the region’s wild footpaths and trails
and rolling hills, we are able to offer a whole range of exciting outdoor activities
to add adrenalin to your holiday and help you explore the natural wonders of
the Périgord. With the addition of visits to incredible sites and a chance to
savour our local cuisine, plus the services of a friendly guide, you’re on the right
