is not listening to a lecture; our enthusiastic guides offer you an exceptional
discovery of the Périgord, its best-known sites and best-kept secrets. For
groups of at least 10 people, our guides are available to customise a holiday
adapted to your desires. Our hiking circuits in the Périgord for individuals and
groups include the organisation of accommodation and board, transportation
during your stay, and more.
Services: Individual clients: Self-guided circuit 'Bastides, châteaux et
préhistoire' ('Bastides, castles and prehistory') from April to the end of October.
Group clients: Customised circuits, from a half-day to a week; guided, self-
guided or a combination of the two.
Professional qualification: Our guides are historians, geographers, art historians and naturalists,
and are specialised in the region that they offer to help you discover.

In the heart of the Dordogne, discover a variety of landscapes at a donkey's
pace. The donkey can carry luggage and children. Self-guided circuit from 2 to
7 days including accommodation organisation.
Services: Individual and group clients: hire a donkey for self-guided 2-hr hikes
on marked footpaths.

'Balade des Contes' for all ages (walks themed on the history of the Périgord,

This holiday village is hidden away just 10 km from Sarlat. Built around a former
farm, it is run by a native of the Périgord who loves hiking and his region. Guy,
a seasoned hiker, is available to give valuable advice to hiking enthusiasts. Feel
free to call on his expertise. He will be a precious asset in your discovery of the
natural and cultural treasures of this renowned rural setting. In addition to the
equipment provided by Rando Gîtes, you'll enjoy the 7-ha grounds, swimming
pools (including one covered and heated) and tennis courts.
Services: Group clients: Discovery hikes of the Périgord Noir. The hikes may be
self-guided or guided with a tour of a site (such as a castle, cave, garden, typical
village, or farm producing foie gras).
