Canoe and kayak rentals in Les Eyzies in the Vézère Valley. Discover the greatest
landscapes of this 'prehistoric valley'. As you glide down the river, you'll admire
the castles of Losse, Belcayre and Clérans; the village of Saint Léon sur Vézère
and the sites of La Roque Saint Christophe, la Maison Forte de Reignac, and la
Chapelle de la Madeleine; and a great number of overhanging cliffs such as 'Le
Ruth' and 'Les Rochers des 7 Frères'. We welcome you to the Vézère River, where
you'll find tranquillity and a preserved natural environment. This is probably the
most 'natural' watercourse of all the Dordogne area's rivers. Suitable for visitors
of all ages. Dogs permitted.
Come to our base in Les Eyzies to discover the most beautiful landscapes of
the Vézère Valley between Limeuil and Montignac, with their well-preserved
surroundings, exceptional sights, cliffs and the hidden treasures that await
in otherwise inaccessible meanders. The Vézère River is tranquil, natural and
magnificent! Our hourly shuttle service by bus enables you to return to the
base when you are ready. We recommend that you reserve. Exclusively available
with our base: an interactive map to help you get oriented, understand your
surroundings and better appreciate your adventure.
The APA canoe base is located in Saint Léon sur Vézère, one of the 'Most
Beautiful Villages of France' in the heart of the 'prehistoric valley'. Qualified
